Cowrie Pendant

The cowrie shell is one of the oldest amulets, an important symbol in religious rituals. It was considered a gift from the ocean and endowed with supernatural powers.

Its shape resembles a vulva and for this reason in many cultures it has been considered the symbol of female fertility and used as an amulet against infertility and to aid childbirth.

This pendant is therefore a symbol of rebirth, to face moments of transition and the blossoming of new possibilities.
